XTC's Mc Banksy Red Boxed, a framed artwork in plastic and wood measuring 27 by 27 by 6 cm, signed, limited to 15/20, created in 2026 in France.
Description from the seller
Mc Banksy cone in a boxed display frame for a wall presentation by XTC.
A détournement of a McDonald’s cone, combining the delicacy of Banksy’s oeuvre with the abundance of McDonald’s, represented by the number of hearts.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything is made from plastic materials and painted by XTC.
The frame is part of the artwork. It comes with a plastic pane; you can display it with or without, as in the first and third photos.
Signed and numbered on the back out of 20, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The shipped piece is not necessarily the one shown in the photo but will be similar.
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration turned into a passion that was to come to fruition.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
Among others, he draws inspiration from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All faults or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.
