Montale Eugenio, Thirty-Two Variations, Milan, Giorgio Lucini Editore, 1973, octavo (square). Double black softcover in jacket-style binding containing 32 loose bifolios, each of a different color. The work is printed on 'Affresco' paper from Cartiera Ventura in various colors, in a print run of only 250 numbered copies (our no. 5). It collects thirty-two elzevirs originally published in the Corriere della Sera between 1968 and 1971, as well as two epigrams never gathered in a volume: "Refrain del Professore-Onorevole" and "Figure" (Barile).
