Geida - Balade contemplative

A garnet-red coupe, a Californian road, a young man with a contemplative, dreamy gaze… Where does he come from, where is he going? A Hollywood-style casting, a first date, dreams and images filling his head?… a simple, ordinary scene that this work tends to render extraordinary, allowing each person to identify with it and to imagine the scenario that suits their own imagination.

GEIDA is a French artist, from the south of France, born in 1982, on the shores of the Côte d’Azur.

Inspired by classical and modern painting, he navigates between contemporary works and street art. His creations incorporate emblematic elements of classic and pop culture. His works are characterized by reinterpretations of major painters, warm colors, expressive and mesmerizing compositions.

GEIDA explores different forms of universes and productions. Some of his works are reproduced in small editions on canvas-stretched panels, thus creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience.
The artist’s style reflects a combination of classical art and new techniques. In order to captivate attention, provoke thought, and elevate interiors.
