Jav Rubín, El pecado original, a limited edition drawing in pencil and ink, 2019, 50 × 50 cm, hand-signed, Spain, in excellent condition, with certificate of authenticity, edition 15 of 15.
Description from the seller
High-quality reproduction of the original work created in graphite and gold acrylic paint, signed by the artist and with a certificate of authenticity. Series of 15 reproductions on 240 g Smooth FineArt paper, with the gold details hand-painted. Protected and sealed on a rigid backing for proper shipping.
Through illustration, Jav Rubín finds the tools needed to show the world, reality as he understands it, always seeking the hidden side of feelings and making them visible in his works. In a realist style, he aims to bring the subconscious closer, sinking reality into the world of emotions and dreams, exposing the authentic gaze of a generation lost, defined by instability and immediacy.
After being awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and completing an artistic research fellowship at the Real Academia Española in Rome in 2014, he moved to Barcelona, where he has since dedicated himself entirely to the publishing, advertising, and mural painting world.
