πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile artist and transmitter of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of brightly colored sculptures, mischievous homage to the universes of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, infused with the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is born. Made in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection unfolds in four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT mixes pop audacity and playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and a visual melody. These pieces, designed to traverse gazes and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
