Description from the seller
For this artwork only second-hand teddy bears were used, sourced from flea markets or rescued from the rubbish and thus immortalized. The work is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries, but the bear also regularly appears on the streets in various forms. (See photos).
The original teddy bear is dipped in cobalt blue ink. It is then printed in its entirety on unstretched canvas. (So no stretching or framing yourself)

Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late 1990s as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels the world and can be seen in galleries from Zürich to New York. Especially in the United States his work has been extremely popular in recent years, and it hangs on the walls of several celebrities.
