Duck Business by Palí, an original portrait in mixed media on a chromed resin dome, 90 × 90 cm, signed, from 2020 and after, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
This work is crafted on a resin dome, previously chrome-plated, then hand-painted in the studio of the artist Pali. The mirror surface creates a direct dialogue between the spectator, the surrounding space, and the scene depicted, reinforcing the visual and conceptual impact of the work. The work oscillates between satire, pop culture, and social critique, subverting the codes of luxury and power with a brilliant and striking aesthetic. The contrast between the reflecting chrome and the expressive painting underscores the duality between appearance and reality and wealth.
Artist biography
Born in 1967, Pali is a self-taught French artist who has been creating since childhood.
Driven by color and materials, she explores painting, drawing and sculpture with great freedom.
In 2010, she devoted herself fully to painting, developing a figurative and intuitive style in which color becomes the through-line of her emotions.
Her works express a search for balance between energy, light and sensitivity.
