About the Artists
Freda People is the artistic collaboration of brothers David Salvador and Javier Salvador (Banakkan), based in Barcelona.
Strongly influenced by urban culture and artists such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí, they have developed a highly recognisable visual style that blends street art, contemporary symbolism, abstraction and graphic design.
Their works have been exhibited and collected internationally, with artworks finding homes across Europe, North America and Asia. The duo has collaborated on artistic projects with actor and painter Jordi Mollà and participated in international exhibitions and creative projects throughout their career.
