Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can sink completely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts. Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me. On trips and while visiting numerous exhibitions in Europe, I have gathered many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.

My preferred medium is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal primarily with emotions, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. I aim to make visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that often can only be expressed through color and movement. I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame sized 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original which has been signed by the artist on the back and dated to the year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple-times white-grounded gallery canvas.

A varnish was applied to protect the work as well.

This work is handmade and thus unique!
