Sometimes there are moments that have neither a beginning nor an end – moments when time seems to slow down and everything remains in balance for a moment. Floating captures exactly this feeling.

The layers of deep blue and light white feel like memories, thoughts, or encounters that pass by and yet connect with one another. Nothing pushes itself into the foreground, nothing demands a definite direction. Instead, a space of calm emerges in which movement and stillness exist at the same time.

The painting invites you to let go and drift – like on a tranquil water surface or between sky and horizon. It reminds us that not every path has to be clearly mapped out and that in particular in the gaps lies often the greatest freedom.

"Floating" tells of trust: trust in the next moment, in one's own rhythm, and in the ability to find one’s place even without a fixed hold. It is a painting about lightness, expansiveness, and the beauty of the in-between.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On journeys and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe, I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal mainly with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be spoken – emotions, moods, and interstices that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are at the center. Every work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a cradle frame sized 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an art restorer or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, which the artist has signed on the back and dated.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple-coated white primed gallery canvas.

Additionally, a varnish was applied to protect the work.

This work is handmade and thus unique!
