Not everything that moves us can be expressed in words. Often it is the small in-betweens, the unspoken thoughts and the fleeting encounters that leave the deepest impression. "Between the Lines" is dedicated to exactly these moments.

The bold color areas stand in the room like fragments of a story, while the fine black lines carve their own path. They cross, wander, and come back to each other – like thoughts, memories, or conversations that linger and create new connections.

The painting does not tell of a fixed truth, but of the spaces in between. Of what we feel before we can say it. Of what arises between people when words alone are not enough. The vivid yellows and blues give the work a particular tension: light and depth, closeness and distance, order and freedom meet on a shared surface.

"Between the Lines" invites the viewer to slow down, follow their own thoughts, and discover the personal story that lies behind the visible forms. For sometimes the real meaning does not lie in the obvious – but exactly there, between the lines.

Biografie:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to collect many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasies. I aim to make visible what cannot be spoken about – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often only expressed through color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process where authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher (Keilrahmen) of size 150 x 120 cm with a depth of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated for the year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple white-primed gallery canvas.

A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
