Biographie:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantastical worlds. I aim to make visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often only expressible in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher frame of size 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, which is signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple coats of white-primed gallery canvas.
A varnish has also been applied to protect the work.
This work is handmade and therefore unique!
