Contemporary full red leather binding, spine with 5 raised bands and gilt title "Boccace Decameron".
Boards with embossed leather, worn corners and edges. Marbled edges.
Format in-12, 19 x 12 cm.
Complete Volume I, II, with "Notice sur Boccace". Laid paper with age-appropriate foxing and browning. Illustrated interior.
Bookplate on upper pastedown + old handwritten inscription.
Condition: Head and tail of spine worn, joints solid. Good condition for a pocket book circa 1900. Complete and presentable copy for collectors.
