Magnificent Hermès silk twill square created in 1989 for the bicentennial of the French Revolution.
Designed by Joachim Metz, this iconic model celebrates the great symbols of the French Republic through a rich and detailed composition mixing Phrygian cap, tricolor cockade, bundles, oak leaves and the Declaration of the Rights of Man.
This commemorative edition has never been reissued by Hermès, which makes it a piece particularly appreciated by collectors of vintage squares and enthusiasts of historical designs.
