Four antique wooden speculaas boards, made of fruitwood and elm wood, each about 62 cm high, 13 cm wide and 2 cm thick, originating from the Netherlands and dating to circa 1920–1960, in good used condition with signs of age.

4 x Beautiful original carved-out speculaas boards with various images, historically used by bakers for making speculaas cookies, consisting of :
- Fruitwood speculaas board with beautifully carved various scenes, dating
Age - Various periods ca. 1920 / 1950 / 1960. — Possibly old.
The carving of this type of boards was often done by a professional board carver but also by the baker himself, who was usually taught during his apprenticeship.
Fruitwood and limewood were more often used for relief/engraving work because fine carving is possible in these woods.
These are four artisanal masterpieces and beautiful examples of speculaas boards from this era and four jewels for the collector or in your interior.

Height approx. 61 cm x Length 9 cm x 2 cm / Height approx. 50 cm x 10.5 cm x 2 cm
Condition - In antique / vintage / old, good condition / reasonable condition with light signs of use and aging, with a nice patina.
