Description from the seller
Rare Omega Speedmaster automatic with the characteristic television screen shape (TV Screen), in stainless steel. An iconic piece from the late 70s/early 80s, produced in a number of pieces much lower than manual-winding Speedmasters (Moonwatch). It houses the automatic Lemania 1045 movement, finished by Omega. The chronograph features 24-hour, day and date functions. The piece is completely original, single owner, belonging to my father and never left our family. It has been polished only once in the past, and all parts are contemporaneous. Overall aesthetic conditions are good. It has the original black dial with baton hands and 3 counters which have shifted to a very particular shade. Some tritium parts have faded over time. The crystal is mineral with the tachymeter scale inside, in excellent condition with slight scratches. The stainless steel case is TV-shaped, a feature that makes this model iconic. The crown, pushers and screw-down caseback are original and in good condition, although they show some chips. The reference and serial numbers are clearly visible inside the caseback (this model has the serial numbers on the movement). The vintage condition is very nice. Movement is functioning, the chronograph functions are operative, but the watch has NOT been serviced recently, so the power reserve is minimal. Please therefore consider that it HAS NOT BEEN SERVICED and thus its accuracy is not guaranteed; rather, it is recommended to have it serviced if you intend to use it in a high-performance way. There are some signs of wear on the case, crystal and dial, but nothing that detracts from the watch’s charm. A beautiful example of this model. Included in the sale are some extra links and a handmade leather travel pouch. Inventory Code: W5. Worldwide shipping with courier, professional packaging, insured for the total value.
