Story of the painting:
In this painting, I wanted both subjects to look away, It’s a moment where two worlds exist side by side, close yet distant, each following its own instinct, its own inner path.
I love the quiet tension that happens when connection is suggested, but never fully revealed.

Artist biography:
Ilaria La Preziosa was born in Rome in 1992 and has nurtured a deep passion for drawing since childhood. As she grew up, she refined her skills through courses and artistic workshops, developing an increasingly defined personal style.
In 2024, she decided to turn this passion into a profession and began selling her paintings. After her first portraits of people, she discovered the world of animal portraiture and specialized mainly in cats.
To date, she has created and sold over 700 artworks, both online and at fairs and local markets.
