In light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, structure and depth change, individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.

Frequency COPPER ON BLACK is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a restrained order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle colour shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency COPPER ON BLACK
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only materials of the highest quality are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide cradle made of solid natural wood (included in price).

Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing it under direct or indirect light to fully reveal the color interplay and make the works come alive.
