Work – INSIDE ’ DIM. 40X 40 h 4
Technique acrylic/ mixed-
The piece ‘INSIDE’ was created with a painting technique that aims to reproduce the effect of marble in an artistic way without overlooking its propensity for Alien Worlds, forms that often surface from the folds of color or from random shapes, integrating themselves and leaving the observer the freedom to travel 'inside'.
Marbling technique
This ancient painting technique, developed centuries ago, has allowed artists to replicate the majesty of marble even in the absence of the original material. The skill lies in faithfully reproducing the natural veins and the chromatic depth of marble on canvas or other supports. Using a wise combination of colors, precise brushstrokes and layered coatings, the artist manages to fool the eye, giving the illusion of three-dimensionality and the textural quality typical of marble, inserting small characters to emphasize the three-dimensionality for traveling to new worlds visible to the more sensitive soul.
In the painting going to auction, we can admire this mastery: the color shades blend harmoniously, recreating the veins and textures characteristic of marble. The work is not merely an imitation, but an artistic reinterpretation that unites tradition and creativity, transforming every detail into a unique masterpiece.
The beauty and complexity of this technique lie in balancing precision and creativity, a skill that only a few artists possess. This painting is a splendid example, ready to captivate the attention and admiration of anyone who views it.
The Magic of Marmorino: An Ancient Art
Imagine turning a simple wall into a canvas that captures the timeless elegance of marble. The marmorino technique, dating back to ancient Romans and revived during the Renaissance, is an art that transforms plaster into pure visual poetry. Here is how this marvel is born:
A Journey Through Time
The marmorino technique is not just a process; it is a journey through time, an evocation of distant eras and immortal beauty. Every step, every gesture, is a tribute to ancient art that continues to live and enchant.
The Poesy of Marble Painted
Imagine a plain wall transformed into a work of art, capturing the majesty of marble through ancient painting techniques.
The Dance of Materials
With delicate and precise gestures, the artist begins with a lime layer and marble dust, creating a smooth and even base. Pigments are masterfully mixed, giving depth to rich and vibrant colors.
The Tale of Veins
Fine brushes and soft sponges move gracefully, drawing veins that seem to pulse with life. Each stroke is an ode to nature, a visual poem that tells stories of distant eras.
Seal this masterpiece, giving the surface a luminosity that seems to emanate from within.
The Magic of the Process
Each phase is an act of love toward the art, a celebration of the eternal beauty of marble. This technique not only imitates nature but reinvents it, transforming any space into a temple of elegance and history.
