Tere Ormazabal, born in Bilbao, Spain.
Art photographer with an extensive track record in creation, teaching and institutional collaboration.
Holder of a degree in Geography and History from UPV-EHU, she has developed work focused on artistic photography and alternative techniques such as cyanotype, Van Dyke brown, liquid emulsion, lithographic film and image transfers both Polaroid and digital emulsion transfers.
Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and cultural centers in the Basque Country since the late nineties and she has received national photography awards.
Work details:
Title of the work: Bodegón V
Size of the work: 60 x 45 cm. Including a small white border around the entire perimeter of the photo, unframed.
Limited edition of 15 copies, signed on the back of the photo.
Includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
High-quality inkjet print with pigment-based ink that guarantees a museum-grade finish and ensures that it remains unaltered over time.
The print is carefully packaged and shipped rolled in a rigid tube with protective material to ensure proper preservation during transport.

This series arises from my experience as a patient with multiple myeloma and my passion for photography. My self-portraits explore vulnerability, transformation and resilience in the face of illness, showing an inner process that is not always visible externally. The series aims to offer a different look at cancer, convey authenticity and remind that there is beauty in vulnerability.
