One of the most important works by Auguste Tissot (1728–1797), a renowned and respected physician who, for his work in favor of the people, was also greatly loved. The copy is intact and genuine: natural, not heavy signs of age. Some scuffing to the contemporary binding and in an entirely leather binding; minimal foxing; numerous and pronounced traces of old ink on the endpapers.
