My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can completely immerse myself in my colors, forms and thoughts.
Already as a child I was fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continuously inspires me anew. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions in Europe I gathered many artistic impressions that shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I mainly deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy realms. I aim to make visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that are often conveyed only through color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a glance inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 130 cm you need a cradle frame sized 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artist or gallery owner.
