Title: "Lines Without a Goal"
Description:
This painting lives from movement, tension, and the courage to follow no fixed order. The red and black lines seem like spontaneous thoughts or emotions making their way across the canvas – raw, direct, and unfiltered.
Between chaos and rhythm, a dynamic of its own emerges: lines cross, lose themselves, reappear, and leave traces of energy and inner restlessness. Precisely because nothing seems clearly defined, freedom arises in expression.
The work reminds us that not every path needs a clear goal. Some movements simply arise from the moment – intense, vivid, and real.

The canvas is delivered rolled.
Christoph Prein is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, created mainly with acrylic paints. Originally from St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld, Prein’s pieces are often characterized by a minimalist, abstract style and are carefully crafted from high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity. In his art, he frequently engages themes such as identity, memory, and the exploration of human emotions, often pushing the boundaries between the visible and the invisible.
Prein’s approach to art is multidimensional, combining painting with elements of sculpture and installation. This distinctive style has earned him recognition both in Austria and internationally, with exhibitions across Europe, North America, and Asia. His works often invite viewers to reflect on the complexities of the modern world and the deeper aspects of the human experience.
For a painting measuring 160 x 110 cm, you need a canvas in the size of 150 x 100 cm with a thickness of 2–4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an art studio craftsman or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints have been used on multiple coats of white, primed gallery canvas.
A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
This work is handmade and therefore unique!
--- Authenticity certificate included ---
Beautify your private residence, law firm, practice, or office and add an elegant and stylish touch to your spaces.
When a person goes into his innermost depths, into a sphere that rarely comes to light, into a space that is mysteriously and hiddenly waiting to be discovered, tickled awake, also tormentedly propped up, then art is born.
