Geida presents Le Plongeon, a 40×40 cm digital painting on canvas, signed by the artist, édition limitée 1/10, created in 2026, in excellent condition, from France, sold directly by the artist, depicting an urban landscape with a woman about to dive.
Description from the seller
A thick fog, an improvised diving board, a determined attitude, and New York. Some will see in this work the contrast of colors between this woman and the decor, others the anachronism of the place and the situation, others still the allegory. Why is this woman about to jump, what does she represent? Positioned on this powerful eagle, a symbol of the United States, in this fog hinting at the world’s complexity, she is about to take the great plunge. What are her motivations, her determination, her objectives… she is ready to dive into all her fragility and innocence.
GEIDA is a French artist from the south of France, born in 1982, on the shores of the Côte d’Azur.
Inspired by classical and modern painting, he moves between contemporary works and street art. His creations incorporate emblematic elements of classical and pop culture. His works are characterized by reinterpretations of major painters, warm colors, expressive and captivating compositions.
GEIDA explores different forms of universes and productions. Some of his works are reproduced in small editions on stretched canvases, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience.
The artist’s style reflects a combination of classical art and new techniques. In order to captivate attention, provoke reflection, and sublime interiors
