Alex VERDENNE (born 1975) presents “Absurdinaire N°9,” acrylic on 40x40 cm linen canvas, hand-signed by “ALEX” in the bottom right and UV-protected varnish, created in 2026, sold directly by the artist, unframed, shipped on a stretcher with careful packaging and a certificate of authenticity.
Painting from the collection "les Absurdinaires," a portmanteau of the words absurd and ordinary. To date there are 15 original and distinct paintings in the "Absurdinaires" series, all bearing the order number of their creation.

Artist biography
The freedom to paint, to create, to vibrate… From evening classes to fine arts, to applied arts, Alex Verdenne begins formal drawing, academic art at the dawn of the 1990s. But he quickly chooses to free himself from it, since the norm is not in his DNA. "The painter must cultivate imagination." He joins the street world, that of graffiti. Spray painting completes his artistic education. From this nascent art, he acquires a sure and precise gesture, mastery of a quick stroke, a painting freed from three-dimensionality, chromatic flamboyance, the simplification of a composition, a different look. From cubism to free figuration, Alex draws his own codes, asserting the freedom of the automatic line and the use of balanced colors;
