Artist biography

The freedom to paint, to create, to vibrate… From evening classes to fine arts, to applied arts, Alex Verdenne begins formal drawing, academic art at the dawn of the 1990s. But he quickly chooses to free himself from it, since the norm is not in his DNA. "The painter must cultivate imagination." He joins the street world, that of graffiti. Spray painting completes his artistic education. From this nascent art, he acquires a sure and precise gesture, mastery of a quick stroke, a painting freed from three-dimensionality, chromatic flamboyance, the simplification of a composition, a different look.
