From evening classes at the Beaux-Arts to the applied arts, Alex Verdenne learns formal drawing, academic art at the dawn of the 1990s. But very quickly he chooses to free himself from it because the norm is not in his DNA. "The painter must cultivate imagination." He joins the street world, that of graffiti. Spray painting completes his artistic education.
