From evening classes to fine arts, to applied arts, Alex Verdenne began with formal drawing and academic art at the dawn of the 1990s. But very quickly he chose to break free from it because the norm is not in his DNA. "The painter must cultivate the imagination." He joined the street world, the world of graffiti. Spray painting completed his artistic education. From this budding art, he developed a sure and precise gesture, mastery of a quick stroke, painting liberated from three-dimensionality, chromatic flamboyance, simplification of composition, a different gaze.
