Description from the seller
Librehand representation of Porsche and classic models is part of a series that I have called " Breakin the rules ". Those who have followed my paintings on the subject of Porsche know that they were hyperrealist paintings where detail with precision and the reflection of reality were fundamental.
This series of breakin the rules that I have painted recently (2026) is a breath of fresh air, where the colors, mixed techniques, reliefs and supports take center stage.
Sergio Rivera Martínez, artist from Madrid. One could say I have been painting since I was born.
Art comes into my life naturally; my grandparents and mother were artisans and artists who worked with wood, tapestries, ceramics and, of course, painting.
All the memories I have are associated with painting… At home, at my grandparents’ house, birthday and Christmas gifts that are cases of paints, while I watched my favorite cartoons I painted. I painted so much that when I left the house I did it too, and thus I began to experiment with graffiti in my early adolescence until today, becoming part of the graffiti history book of Majadahonda.
Currently I work on canvases with a meticulous realism in every detail or expression. I focus the motifs of my work mainly on nostalgia, retro and/or the classic.
Some of the most recent exhibitions in which I have taken part:
Madrid Print Fair 2024
Various exhibitions at Espacio Beny 2023-2024
Cyclamen Exhibition, Leucade Gallery 2024
Seventy-Two Exhibition, El Punto Rojo Gallery
Collective exhibition “Hashtag3” Leucade Gallery.
Collective exhibition “Esencial” Leucade Gallery.
Work Geronimo, Best Plastic Work in the Western genre mentioned. Almería Western Film Festival 2017. Among others…
2025-2026 Represented by Galería Herraíz (Madrid).
2026 artist with work at the Porsche Center Barcelona.
