Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Pair of Capodimonte-style three-light candelabra in brass and polychrome porcelain, made in Italy, dating from 1960–1970, each 36 cm high, 28 cm wide, 13 cm deep, total weight 1.1 kg, comprising two objects, in good vintage condition with minor aging and blemishes; note one cherub on the right-hand candelabrum is missing a wing and there is light porcelain restoration on the other.
Description from the seller
A stunning and elegant pair of three-light candelabra crafted in the distinctive Capodimonte style. These pieces feature a refined design that beautifully combines finely chased gilt bronze or brass elements with rich polychrome porcelain bodies. At the base of each candelabrum, two charming, hand-painted winged cherubs or putti are depicted in exquisite detail, surrounded by delicate raised floral motifs and cornucopias.
The upper structure develops into sinuous scroll-decorated arms with classic fluting, perfectly suited for standard candles. This pair represents an excellent example of artistic craftsmanship, ideal for embellishing a formal dining table, a mantelpiece, or a vintage console table, bringing an atmosphere of timeless classicism and sophistication to any interior.
Condition: The items are in good overall vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina on the metal parts; minor, nearly unnoticeable wear or tiny imperfections to the delicate porcelain flowers may be present due to age, which is typical for these antique fabrications and does not compromise their overall beauty.
Please note that there is a missing wing on one of the cherubs on the right-hand candelabrum, and little restoration on the porcelain figure of the other candelabrum, as shown in the photos.
