Hanging lamp - Milk glass, painted - Kitchen lamp

An original hanging ceiling lamp dating from the interwar period, kept in a classic Art Deco style. Characteristic of the era, a parasol-shaped lampshade with a wavy edge was made from high-quality opaline white glass. The glass surface is adorned with a charming, hand-applied painting depicting a pastoral landscape with a rural cottage amidst greenery. The lamp has preserved its authentic period fittings, including a brass socket with a decorative press gallery, a traditional braided cord, and a ceramic canopy. All together it creates a unique vintage atmosphere, perfect for a stylish kitchen, dining room, or living room.
