Multidisciplinary photographer, author and musician, David Law develops work centered on gaze, presence and the perception of the image in urban space. He first became known for a series devoted to shop-window mannequins, integrated into the city through a subtle play of reflections and superpositions. This exploration of gaze and presence gave birth to an art book published in 2021. In a repetitive façade where each window becomes a world, the light reveals fragments of silent lives. Behind each colored square, simple gestures — almost invisible — tell of intimacy, waiting and isolation. No gaze crosses paths, no story intersects. A collection of contemporary solitudes, confined within their own luminous frames. This series was designed from contemporary visual-creation workflows, using graphic tools and current digital composition techniques.
