This single malt, from one of Scotland’s most remote distilleries, is the result of a wonderful blend of spirit matured in ex-bourbon casks and spirit matured in first-fill Spanish and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Compared with the 17-year-old version, this single malt uses a higher proportion of ex-Oloroso sherry casks relative to the ex-bourbon casks. In 2012, Jim Murray awarded this special whisky 97.5 points.
