My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly arranged studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, forms and thoughts.
Since childhood I was fascinated by the world of art. This passion never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I have gathered many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I primarily deal with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. I aim to make visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that often can only be expressed in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is an intuitive process for me, in which authenticity and depth are at the center. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting with dimensions 160 x 130 cm a stretcher frame of size 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm is needed.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints have been applied on multiple coats of white-primed gallery canvas.
