"The Third Space" arises where opposites meet. The bright red and the deep blue symbolize two different forces – warmth and coolness, movement and calm, emotion and intellect. Between them lies the black line: not a closing barrier, but a quiet transition, a space of encounter.

The work tells of the in-between moments of our lives – the moments when it’s not about either/or, but about what emerges from their interaction. Where differences may exist, something new arises: a balance, a new perspective, a space of its own.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can completely immerse myself in my colors, forms and thoughts.
Since I was a child I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and inspires me again and again. On travels and during visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe, I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I deal primarily with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and the in-between spaces that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me it is an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are at the center. Each work is a piece of myself – a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm one needs a stretcher frame sized 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can either stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an art craftsman or gallery.

This is a handmade original, signed and dated by the artist on the back.

High-quality, light-fast acrylic paints were used on multi-times white-primed gallery canvas.

A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
