Edition published in Paris, Rue Richelieu, in two large-format volumes with antique hard binding. Complete work of the entire editorial year, including the fascicles collected in the volume, the indexes, and the final catalog of engravings.
The volumes constitute a significant testimony of the illustrated publishing of the Second French Empire and document historical events, international chronicle, architecture, arts, society, fashion, explorations, and urban views through a very rich iconographic apparatus engraved.
