Lacalle's work explores the relationship between color, structure and spatial perception through geometric abstraction.
Lacalle's work sits within contemporary abstract art at the intersection between expressive abstraction and compositional rigor.
This piece is especially suitable for collectors seeking a work with strong visual presence in contemporary interiors.
About the artist:
Lacalle is a Spanish artist with a solid career and a coherent pictorial evolution developed over more than a decade of training in the studio of painter and gallery owner Nieves Solana (Madrid).
Her work lies in a transitional line between contemporary expressionism and geometric abstraction, with a clearly defined plastic identity where color acts as the structural axis of the composition.
She works on multiple supports (canvas, panel, paper) and techniques (oil, acrylic, mixed media), with particular attention to textures, glazes and chromatic construction, adding depth and visual richness to each piece.
She has exhibited solo and collectively in various venues in Spain and Portugal, and her work is currently in international private collections.
The artist has had press and coverage in specialized media.
