The artist Hestela Charbonnier develops a pictorial research that moves between the floral world and the figurative dimension, creating a continuous dialogue between nature and human beings. Her production ranges from botanically charged compositions full of energy and matter to portraits and figures in which a deep emotional sensitivity emerges.
In the floral paintings, color is the absolute protagonist: dynamic brushstrokes, material stratifications and luminous contrasts transform the flower into a symbol of vitality, transformation and fragility. The forms expand across the canvas with an instinctive yet aware gesture, giving rise to intense and engaging compositions.
In the figurative works, instead, the artist explores interiority through postures, gazes and suspended atmospheres. The figures are never simple representations, but become silent narratives, laden with emotion and psychological depth.
The common thread of both researches is attention to matter and to color as primary expressive tools. Whether it is a flower in full explosion or a figure immersed in its own thoughts, each work reflects a tension between energy and delicacy, between gesture and introspection
