Arnaud Leturcq was born in France in 1961. He is a contemporary French painter, known mainly for his urban and seaside landscapes created with oil or acrylic and a very expressive palette knife technique.
He is linked to the Brittany region, especially to towns such as Ploubazlanec and Paimpol, recurring subjects in his work.
He mainly works in contemporary figurative painting, with scenes of ports, rural landscapes, historic cities and Mediterranean or Moroccan settings.
His works are usually executed with a thick, textured brushstroke, using the palette knife a lot and intense colors.
