Ashtray (2) - Glass - Submerged Crystal

Elegant pair of ashtrays made from thick artistic crystal, from the 1960s–1970s, produced with the 'sommerso' technique and with a refined smoky hue and hand-ground and hand-polished finish. The essential geometric lines and the substantial thickness of the glass give the objects a strong sculptural presence, typical of Murano production of the period. They bear the original labels 'Cristallo lavorato a mano – Made in Murano'. Perfect as ashtrays, catch-alls, or decorative objects for modern and contemporary interiors.
