Roland - JV880 Multi Timbral Synthesizer Module Audio component

The Roland JV-880 is a popular, multitimbral PCM-sample-based synthesizer module in a compact 1U rack format, released by Roland in 1992. It is the rack version of the well-known Roland JV-80 keyboard synthesizer and is considered the direct predecessor of the legendary Super JV-1080. The module is known for its distinctive, warm 1990s tonal character and deep bass response.
The JV-880 is praised by musicians for its unique, organic and somewhat 'dark' sound. Although later models (such as the JV-1080) are more powerful, many enthusiasts find the 880's tone to be fuller and punchier in the low end, making it excellent for thick synth basses and cinematic soundscapes/pads.
