Antique German letter weighing scale dating to 1930–1940, by Jakob Maul (JM), made of iron, aluminium and brass, 35 cm high, 31 cm wide and 16 cm deep, with two weighing ranges 0–5000 g (linked counterweights) and 0–250 g (unlinked counterweights), in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear.

Offered: a distinctive German letter-scale with two weighing options.
The standard weighing platform is located at the top of the scale.
This scale was manufactured by Jakob Maul. The mark JM is located on the rear of the scale.
The weighing range of this special scale runs from:
0 to 5000 grams with both counterweights linked together.
0 to 250 grams with the counterweights unlinked.
This scale with pluggable counterweights makes it an interesting and decorative object for collectors of old measuring instruments, industrial design, or retro office accessories.
Condition:
Used but in very good vintage condition, with few signs of wear.
