Case material: Stainless steel
Year of production: 1960s

Dial and Hands
The dial presents a classic ivory base that has aged beautifully, showing a pronounced speckled stardust patina across the surface. Silver-tone raised Arabic numerals mark the quarter hours at 12, 3, 6, and 9, interspersed with elegant raised baton markers. The stylized white Hamilton logo and the “H” initials sit proudly below the 12 o’clock position. A minimalist small-seconds subdial with a cross design is elegantly positioned at 6, just above the “SWISS” designation. Close inspection reveals localized brown spots and discolorations near the central arbor that extend slightly toward the right hemisphere of the dial, adding unique vintage character. The watch is equipped with alpha-style hour and minute hands with aged inserts, framed by metal showing evident oxidation and wear consistent with age, perfectly in line with the dial’s aesthetic.
Case and Crystal
The 33 mm stainless steel case features a classic rounded profile with tapered lugs and a polished bezel. The case shows moderate superficial scratches, handling marks, and slight rounding of the edges consistent with regular use over the decades, presenting in honest, non-polished condition. The screw-down stainless steel back displays a circular brushed finish in the center, edged by engravings HAMILTON and STAINLESS STEEL along the outer circumference. An acrylic dome crystal protects the dial, enhancing the warm vintage atmosphere of the specimen while maintaining clear legibility. The watch is equipped with a crown profile with almond-shaped edges that integrate perfectly with the case proportions.
Movement
The watch is powered by a traditional Swiss manual-wind mechanical movement, suitable for a dress watch of the era. Operating in vintage condition. Maintain the authentic mechanical character of the period. The timegrapher indicates a rate of +60 to +67 seconds per day.
Strap
The timepiece is paired with an elegant black leather strap with an alligator grain texture. It is completed by a traditional polished stainless steel buckle, offering a sophisticated contrast against the silver tones of the dial and case. This Hamilton is preserved in good vintage condition. The case maintains structural integrity, showing the expected surface wear and typical fine scratches for its age. The dial is the standout feature, exhibiting a heavy yet attractive stardust patina along with some pronounced localized abrasions near the center, offering an authentic, characterful appearance. The hands and markers show corresponding aging, resulting in a cohesive and charming vintage aesthetic.
Dimensions
The case measures 33 mm in diameter, excluding the crown, offering a classic, well-proportioned fit for a dress watch.
