This rare model, printed with a sumptuous floral motif with a free, pictorial touch, evokes the art of gesture and the colorful romanticism typical of Balmain creations from the post-war period.
The design, mixing deep reds, luminous ochres and smoky foliage, seems to have been applied with a brush, in an impressionist painting spirit.
