Handmade Florentine triptych (triptych) of gilded wood, dating from the mid-20th century. This type of home altar is known for its rich, classical appearance and detailed finish. The central panel shows a beautiful, serene rendering of the Madonna and Child (prints inspired by the classical Renaissance style of Raphael). The two hinged side panels are decorated with richly populated religious scenes of crowds and saints. The whole is encased in an elegant wooden frame with a gold patina finish and Gothic arch shapes. When the doors are closed, the outsides display an elegant stylized decorative pattern in relief. A splendid piece for a collector of religious art or as a unique decorative item in a classical interior.
