This work in the format 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm is created on a wide, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In the light, the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, the structure and depth change; individual layers become more pronounced. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.

Frequency DEEP VIOLET is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause, and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held notes, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Work details:
Title: Frequency DEEP VIOLET
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with different scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only materials of the highest quality are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex texture pastes – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully showcase the color play and to make the works come alive.
