Frequency RED VIOLET is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Work details:
Title: Frequency RED VIOLET
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex texture pastes – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. The light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the piece under direct or indirect light to fully reveal the color interaction and make the works feel alive.
