C. Brock - CHRYSIS II

CHRYSIS II is a piece I created a few months ago to illustrate the theme of possession and its beauty and sadness. For this piece I decided to use a contrast of gold and black to best represent the feeling of fulfilment aswell as absence and darkness. It is heavily textured, adorned with nooks and crannies to make it pop visually. It is one of my most beautiful contemporary works and I believe it would make for a fantastic feature piece. It comes in a black frame I have hand constructed. Shipping may seem expensive but it is due to the insurance costs aswell as packaging materials to keep the painting safe.
