Description from the seller

Roy Lichtenstein - Hayward Gallery: February 26 to May 16, 2004.
In very good condition.
Provenance: Hayward Gallery.

Roy Lichtenstein is a key figure in modern art and, together with Andy Warhol, one of the 'two pillars' of American pop art.
He rose to prominence in the early 1960s with his paintings based on comic-strip characters—Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Popeye—his comic stories with war scenes and romantic melodramas, and his sober, graphic images of everyday objects from advertising.
