Omega MG 6351 manual-wind rattrapante mechanical stopwatch from 1974, in a steel case 54 mm wide, weighing 122 g, in good cosmetic condition and in working order, with the original factory label bearing serial number 3838628 and a frequency of 18000 A.
Description from the seller
A beautiful and rare Omega Rattrapante (split-seconds) mechanical stopwatch, model MG 6351. This piece is unique due to the presence of the original factory cardboard label (hang tag).
The label shows exactly the serial number (3838628), with which this stopwatch can officially be dated to production year 1974. In addition, the label mentions "18000 A", which indicates the classic frequency of the mechanical movement (18,000 gear revolutions per hour).
The advanced rattrapante system (with a double-second hand for measuring intermediate times) functions flawlessly and starts, stops and resets properly. The watch is equipped with a highly sought-after black dial with a contrasting white outer ring, a red Omega branding, and sharp markers. The case retains its original, characteristic gray anti-reflective coating.
Specifications:
- Dimensions/diameter: 54 mm from left to right (measured without crown/pushers).
- Maintenance history: Vintage stock, runs and ticks perfectly.
- Condition: In good cosmetic and excellent technical condition. The crystal shows a few very light, superficial scratches. The metal has, due to storage/age, a number of somewhat more noticeable scratches on the bottom of the case. The dial is in beautiful condition. Includes the original paper factory label.
- Shipping method: Packed with the utmost care and shock-resistant. Shipping is carried out exclusively via registered mail with full insurance.
