Old original painting by the Italian painter Ennio Formigli (Livorno, Tuscany 1931-2008) created with the pointillism painting technique.
Complete with legally compliant stamped and signed certification.
Technique: oil on wooden panel + old gold frame in double mounting with burgundy toiled passe-partout (without glass)
Painting in good to excellent condition; will be lacquered with transparent protective varnish "DAMAR" to give new life and brilliance to the colors, no restoration needed
The frame and passe-partout are in good condition but show imperfections and signs of time; the external frame has been restored with gold leaf, it will be shipped with the painting for protection and as an era-matching accessory; please consider it a complimentary item and not to be evaluated separately, thank you

Born in Livorno in 1931, where he lives and works.
Self-taught, he has explored various expressive currents, such as Macchiaiolismo, Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, and Divisionism. Over more than 40 years of activity he has earned numerous awards.
He has exhibited in many group shows and held solo exhibitions in various cities, especially in Tuscany, earning flattering critical and public acclaim; his works are in many collections in Italy and abroad.
